SP FanFic Other Dimention Part 12 (and a short update on my life)

YAY FINALY MORE!!!! ... I dislike assignment they take up to much time and I'm just being BOMBARDED with homework, and the Maths and Biology teachers are acting like they haven't already given us assignments!!!
I did my English speech today, I didn't get to nerves and the worst I did was repeat myself and pause for a second. So in other words I did really well!!!

WARNING THIS FANFIC IS BASED AFTER THE EVENTS OF KOTW, AND CONTAINS SPOILERS

Lord Vile was sitting in his chair looking at the pen that Adelle gave him last night. I don’t deserve this, I have done so little for you but you still give me this even after I killed in front of you? Even after I killed people on your front lawn you still give me a gift? Even though you know you’ll get nothing in return? Your face when you apologised, you, you said that you shouldn’t of felt that way, but you felt exactly like you should, I attacked you, almost killed you! You asked if that was what I did to all my friends, you where referring to me as a friend! And you … Why, why are doing this to me, for me? I don’t understand I saved your mother but I killed someone to replace her, I killed a person that stole your basket, you probably even could have gotten it back by yourself, but I killed him, he hit you, hit you!  Why, why do I care so much for you, why are you so kind to me? Of all people! Why I don’t understand WHY! Lord Vile smashed his fist on the coffee table next to the chair.
“Is something troubling you my friend?” asked Nefarian Serpine as walked in the door and closed it with a soft click.
“Don’t you knock?” asked Lord Vile without looking at him.
“I felt no need, you’re usually up at this time anyway, but it seems today is one of the few days you’re in a mood, maybe I should have knocked … But what is troubling you? Is it someone you want dead?” asked Nefarian
“No, It’s nothing” replied Lord Vile
“If you, a person that rarely shows emotion is in a mood and shows emotion than something is wrong. You haven’t been quite been acting normal for a while. Too much fresh air? Maybe you should get a check-up or something”
“NO” Lord Vile stood up, “I’m in perfect health and there is nothing wrong with me, if anyone should be checked it’s you, because you have no sense of manners or my health for that matter! If you want to tell people about there health you should become a doctor!” said Lord Vile as he headed towards the door
“It’s that girl isn’t it? That’s why you’re acting like this, isn’t it?” asked Nefarian. Lord Vile stoped walking towards the door, he was just past Nefarian and he hand was within reach of the handle, “I might not be too good with health but I can see that she has something to do with this, if you want we can dispose of her” If Nefarian could see Lord Vile’s eyes they would of narrowed, Lord Vile was so tempted to kill him on the spot, but if he did that would only prove that Nefarian was right.
“No thanks she’s fine where she is” replied Lord Vile as calmly as he could.
“Fine I’ll let you deal with her then” said Nefarian as he walked out the door

Adelle went to her pigeon hole on Boxing Day and found a letter in it. She carefully opened it and made sure not to tear the expensive paper.

To Miss Shifter

You are invited to a Ball on the 30th of December to celebrate the win of the war.
It will be in the Ball Room of the castle and it will begin a
6pm and end at 2am.
We hope to see you there.

Adelle looked at the invitation a little longer. Crap I’m going to need a nice dress!

It was the night of the ball. The snow had stopped for the ball the castle was lit up beautifully; the lights made it glow and seem so warm. Adelle made her way to the ball room. The ball room was filled with talking people that where competing with the music. Adelle saw all the people, she recognized a few faces, but the ones that she knew best where maids. The Ball room was massive and there was a section in the centre where people where dancing. The wall on the left was filled with ginormous arched windows that over looked the side garden. There where tables all around the edge of the room with people sitting at them. Mevolent was talking to some people in the corner holding a glass of red wine. Someone grabbed Adelle’s wrist.
“You’re here!” said Death as she spun Adelle around, “Where have you been? Oooo nice dress” said Death as she looked at Adelle’s grey dress with white dot.
“Thanks, I’ve been walking here, and your dress is spectacular!” said Adelle, and Deaths dress was spectacular it was black and her trail was slowly turning white with flecks of red on it.
“Thanks, doesn’t it look like I’ve just killed someone!”
“Um … yeah … but um … yeah it dose”
“I know they did a wonderful job! And they killed some pigs to make sure they got the effect right!”
“Well at least it wasn’t human” muttered Adelle
“Oh don’t look so glum we’ll have you a boy by the end of tonight!”
“WHAT! No, no, no, no! I can’t go home with a guy my dad will be furious!”
“Who said anything about him going home with you?” said Death as she dragged Adelle to the closest group of young looking guys, “Say hi”
‘Help me’ Mouthed Adelle
“What was that?” asked Death
“Hi” said Adelle as she gave a shy wave “I’m Adelaide.” The guys seamed to understand Adelle’s distress call
“Death I think they have cookies at the table over there” said a guy
“Cookies!” said Death then she ran off in the direction of the table. There was a few moments silence “COOKIES!” exclaimed Death from the other side of the room.
“Um thanks I’m going to run away now before she comes back, finds me then drags me to meet everyone in the room”
“Yeah you better hurry it won’t take her long to scoff all the cookies down” said one of the guys
“Thanks, I owe you guys! Bye” said Adelle as she slipped into the crowd.

Adelle had avoided Death for half an hour and was getting bored; she’d talked to some people and was trying to resist the urge to serve people plates to food. Serving food would be something to do and Adelle still didn’t feel like she belonged here all dressed up, she knew she was going to be a maid since she was little and now it’s all changed it felt weird. Mostly because she was now ‘more superior’ than the people that she’d grown up with and that they were offering her food.
“Would you like something to drink miss?” said a voice that pulled her back to reality
“Mmm, I beg your pardon what did you say?” Adelle asked as she turned
“Um would you like a drink?” asked Sarah
“Oh hi Sarah, how are you?”
“I’m good thank you, what about you?”
“Yeah I’m good” Adelle leaned in, “but I thought mage’s parties were exiting” whispered Adelle as Sarah smiled
“Yes me to” said Sarah “So um do you want a drink?”
“OH sorry no thank you I’m fine thanks”
“Ok then bye” said Sarah as she turned to walk away. All of the arched windows shattered and people screamed in shock as an army of people came into the ball room from a barge that was hovering outside the window. The room erupted in violence, people defending them self’s and people attacking. Adelle was closer to the side of violence; the right side of the room wasn’t yet part of the fight. Someone grabbed Sarah and was using her as a shield, Adelle ran over to her
“Hey let her go” yelled Adelle, the person obviously not wanting a fight backed off and ran for the exit.
“Sarah, get the hell out of here, now!”
“But yo-“
“I’ll be fine, just move!” said Adelle as she cut her off, Sarah moved into the crowd that was trying to exit and started to help an old couple to the door. Adelle shrunk out of her gown, she had her cloths that changed size on underneath just in case and it looked like it was smart to bring them. The whole room was kayos, there where fireballs being thrown, shadows wiping, and beams of light scorching everywhere. Adelle tossed her dress under a table and punched the closest person that wasn’t nicely dressed, they crumpled. Adelle saw some people catch on fire on the other side of the room and Mevolent was standing near them. I wouldn’t want to get close to him if I just crashed his party though Adelle. Adelle looked over her shoulder and saw that some guys where blocking the exit and Sarah was still in the ball room. Adelle shrunk to the size of a finger and slipped between the crowds, she kicked one of the guy’s feet and he fell screeching. The other guys look at him but didn’t seem to notice Adelle, she was moving for the next guy when a shadow cam over her. She spun around to look what it was, it was a foot. Adelle barely had time to brace herself as the foot came down on top of her. She felt everything being crushed, her breath was forced out of her and she herd her bones snap.

SP FanFic Other Dimention Part 11

WARNING THIS FANFIC IS BASED AFTER THE EVENTS OF KOTW, AND CONTAINS SPOILERS
(Yeah I bet this warning is annoying but I don't want to spoil anything ... although about 1/2 of these don't really contain spoilers they still might give away tiny hints. So my apologies if this warning is getting annoying!)

Adelle called the authorities and explained that the men were trying to kill her; she didn’t mention that her dad had a gun. She told them that Lord Vile was around and saw them pull out guns, and aimed them at her and so he killed them because they were mortal and they had tried to kill a sorcerer. They had accepted her story and helped clean up the mess. After the bodies were taken away as well as the snow with blood in it, Adelle went to get her family. She told her dad that a sorcerer had killed them. Adelle told him no specifics and Tony didn’t push it, possibly because she had seen people die. Adelle went to bed and it was hunted by images of the men dyeing.

Adelle had a horrid night sleep, but she didn’t show it. It was Christmas Eve and she wasn’t going to be caught in a bad mood today. Some of her relatives where coming over this a noon, one family from her mother’s side and one from her father’s side. The house was going to be packed full of people, and the kid’s would have to sleep in the lounge room while the adults took the Adelle’s room and her brothers. Adelle’s brothers were going to sleep with Adelle’s dad for the time that the relatives where over because their mother was no longer there. Adelle was walking to the castle, her feet crunched in the snow. Everyone was giving her the look that they had been giving her for the past month, the ‘You’re a sorcerer, I’m scared of you’ look. Adelle wasn’t going to let it get her down, not today and not tomorrow! Adelle was just wondering how her family would react, they would of heard about it, and if they didn’t then they would know quite soon. Adelle sighed and pushed the thoughts out of her head.

It was mid-day, time to dust Lord Vile’s room, Adelle wasn’t sure if he was at lunch today or not, but Adelle didn’t want to confront him, not yet.  Adelle knocked on the door to his room but no one answered. Adelle waited a couple of seconds
“I’m coming in to clean” she said as she opened the door, no one was inside. Adelle let out a sigh of relief; she didn’t have to talk to him yet. Adelle started dusting the room and that was all she had to do. She was quickly getting around the room and was almost finished when the door opened and Lord Vile walked in. He looked at her for a couple of seconds then closed the door. Adelle walked up to Lord Vile
“I-I’m really sorry … about last night, I-I reacted before I knew what I was doing. And I’m sorry I’m, I, um, I should be used to it, I should of expected it, and” her face fell, “I should be used to all the death I mean it happens so often, but I guess it’s not till it’s right in front of you do you actually realise what it’s like, and, and, I’m sorry I though you where someone else, someone that wasn’t like the cold hearted killer that I’d hear about!” her eyes filled with tears and she ran out of the room.
“I’m sorry that you had to realise that just now, but that’s what I am” whispered Lord Vile, he felt a small piece of him leave with Adelle.

It was home time and Adelle was glade, she would be able to see some of her cousins, aunts and uncles. It was dark when she got home, but her house was warmly lit and voices of happiness could be heard from inside. Adelle unlocked the door and went inside.
“Hi everyone, how are you all” said Adelle with a smile, everyone froze then Aunty Trish moved forward and gave Adelle a hug.
“Oh my poor little girl what have all those men made you do, you poor little thing” said Trish, Aunty Trish was Tony’s sister and she never had any girl children, so she treated Adelle like her own daughter whenever she could. Adelle laughed
“I’m fine Aunty Trish, really!” said Adelle as she looked at Aunty Trish’s brown eyes. Aunty Trish was thin and medium height with brown arm-pit length hair.
“That’s good” said Aunty Trish as she held Adelle at arm’s length, “Now while we’re here Kath and I are going to cook for everyone, you and Susan can help if you want” Kath was Adelle’s other Aunty, from her mother’s side, Adelle wasn’t related to Kath, but she was still family and Susan was Kath’s daughter that was only a couple of years younger than Adelle. Kath was medium in height and weight, her hair was black and at shoulder length. Susan was slightly tall for her age and slender; she had blond hair with curls that stoped at the end of her shoulder blades.
“Oh really you don’t need to! I’ll manage to cook everyone there meals” lied Adelle
“Oh no you don’t we’re going to help you and that’s final!” said Aunty Trish with her hands on her hips, “And speaking of that we have some food cooking now so I best go check on it” said Aunty Trish as she walked to the kitchen section of the room.
“Hi Adelle” said Tom, he was tall and had a medium build he also had brown hair that flopped around his face. He was Susan’s older brother and he was a year older that Adelle, “You look … um”
“Older?” Adelle offered
“Ha yeah, we all do” replied Tom
“Who would of thought” said Adelle sarcastically
“Yeah, um so how’s life?” asked Tom, Adelle responded by arching an eyebrow as if to say ‘do you really want me to answer that?’, “Oh right sorry, I … um it hasn’t entirely … I mean I can’t believe that she gone”
“Yeah it is kind of hard to believe but after a while it finally registers” said Adelle quietly, in fact Adelle’s mum was leaving for a resistance base today, so Adelle was really never going to see her again.
“I’m going to walk away before I say something wrong again” said Tom then he shuffled off.

Adelle woke up on Christmas day to the sound of squawking children and Adelle looked to the clock above the mantel piece it was just past six. Well I slept in about five minutes more than usual! Adelle rolled over to see her most of her younger cousins and her brothers under the tree gathering the presents that where there’s. Adelle looked over to where Susan was sleeping and saw her lying there awake.
“Shall we start to make breakfast?” asked Adelle
“No” said Susan’s younger sister Alice her blond curls bobbing around her head, “We have to wake mummy and daddy up first!” all of the younger kids nodded or said an agreement.
“We can wake them up by the smell of bacon and eggs?” asked Adelle hopefully
“No” said the children together, Adelle sighed playfully
“Well I guess it would be good if your parents could help us make breakfast” said Adelle
“Yay!” said the kids a bit too loudly
Tom groaned “I think you’ve already woke them up” said Tom sleepily as he sat up from where he slept.
“Yeah that seems likely” said Susan
“We’re going to wake them up!” said Alice
“Yeah well I do like seeing mum and dad getting jumped on by us” said Tom
“Oh god, when we’re parents! Oh I’m going to get squashed!” said Susan
“Ohhhh” groaned Tom "don’t even bring that up! Let’s just stick with the squashing of our parents for now!”
“Agreed” Nodded Adelle as she sat up “Ok so whose parents are we going to squash first?” asked Adelle
“Mine, Mine!” said Alice
“Ok let’s go” said Tom. It was a bit of a tradition with Adelle’s family that all the kids would go and pile up on the parents to wake them up for Christmas. It’s said that Christmas was a day which celebrated a birthday of a significant figure in a major religion, no one really knows what it used to be or they just won’t tell. Now it’s a day that symbolise the day that the faceless ones will return to earth, and the giving of gifts represents the people of earth giving the possession of earth back to the faceless ones. The name stuck though, apparently it was too hard to rename it because everyone would just call it what it used to be, so the name Christmas stuck.

The day was going fast, which was sad because it was fun and Christmas was one of the only public holidays that mortals got the day off. It was just after dinner time and all the parents were talking, they could talk a lot when they wanted to. All of the younger kids where playing with their toys or reading the books that they got, Adelle and Susan where playing dolls with Alice because Alice practically begged them and Adelle probably wouldn’t see her for another six months. After a while Adelle stood up
“Where are you going Gammier is just getting her hair done you can’t leave yet!” said Alice
“I’m not leaving I’m just going to stretch my legs in the backyard for a few minutes then I’ll come back and play with you I promise” said Adelle
“Ok be back soon” said Alice then Adelle went to her room and grabbed her thick coat. Adelle lifted up a floor board from under her bed and pulled out a small box wrapped in cloth. She put the floor board back in place then went outside

***

Adelle walked outside into the cold Christmas night, Lord Vile wasn’t sure what she was doing out of the warm house, it was too cold outside even though she was wearing a thick coat she still looked cold. She turned and looked at him, he was surprised she noticed him, but with all the snow it might not have been that hard. He cocked his head and she did likewise then gestured for him to stand next to her and so he shadow walked. When he was standing next to her out of the sight of the window she talked.
“Merry Christmas. I know that you might not be a fan of Christmas considering you worship the faceless ones but ah yeah, it is Christmas so I thought I’d say it” her voice was soft and when she spoke clouds appears, her nose was turning pink from the cold, “Um I know I’ve already thanked you but yeah I still can’t express how much it means to me that you saved my mother! So I got you a Christmas present, it might not be much but it was the best I could do since most of our money goes to my brothers school fees or food. I hope you like it” she said as she handed him a slim white box with a dark blue ribbon on it.
“But I didn’t get you anything” said Lord Vile
“Ah don’t worry about it” She said with a smile on her face, “You didn’t even know that I was getting you one! And you have done so much for me and I have done nothing for you, and I still don’t get why you have done all this for me! But I’m not complaining” Adelle said now with a grin on her face, “Go on open it, it’s Christmas not Christmas eve” Lord Vile gently pulled at the ribbon then pulled of the lid. Inside was a Pen a wonderfully beautiful pen. It was black at the tip but had a gradual change in colour till it reached the top of the pen which was white. Lord Vile studied this pen for a bit when a voice broke his thoughts.
“Do you like it?” Adelle asked
“Yes it’s wonderful, thank you” said Lord Vile, Adelle now had a massive grin on her face and her cheeks where pink, most likely from the cold.
“ADELLE COME BACK INSIDE BEFORE YOU CATCH YOUR DEATH!” yelled an aunt from inside
“Well I best go, thank you for coming!” Adelle said before she walked back inside. Lord Vile watched her go back inside, Adelle you have done more than you know thought Lord Vile.
